Every brand has a story,
We invite you to join us
on the journey of the TERAM brand, the largest printing and packaging company in Iran.
The beginning: A legacy of valuable experience passed down from the first generation
In 1919, Mr. Ahmad Ahmadi (grandfather) began his career at one of the first printing houses in Isfahan (Habl al-Matin Printing House). Over time, he gained extensive knowledge and expertise in the printing industry. In 1927, he moved to Arak, where he established the first printing house in the city. Upon returning to Isfahan in 1941, he opened a bookstore, and in 1951, he founded the Ahmadi Printing House on Sepah Street, Isfahan

Growth and Flourishing: Academic Knowledge Put to the Test
Mr. Abolghasem Ahmadi (father) returned to Iran after completing his studies in printing and graphic design in Austria and established the Haft Rang Printing House in 1979. This company, based in Isfahan, has always been a leader in the fields of publishing and advertising from the past to the present

TERAM: The Birth of a Dream; An Idea Grown from Our Experience and Knowledge
In 2007, Engineer Alireza Ahmadi, after gaining seven years of technical and managerial experience at Haft Rang Printing House and recognizing the growing demand for packaging in printed products, founded the largest printing and packaging company in Iran with his wife, Dr. Saeedeh Nejadestari, with a completely specialized approach. TERAM began its operations in the Sejzi Industrial Town in Isfahan Province, equipped with advanced printing and post-printing machinery focused on packaging.

Distinctiveness: Our attention to elegance and creativity in executing packaging details sets us apart from our competitors
Since 2009, TERAM has adopted a strategy of differentiation, stepping into the realm of modern packaging by utilizing distinctive printing services and special effects to create added value for its customers. In 2010, TERAM’s specialized design studio began its operations and has played a key role in enhancing the country’s packaging design since its inception. Creativity and innovation in packaging production have been among TERAM’s main points of distinction since 2010. In 2012, TERAM introduced gift boxes for chocolates and launched luxury tissues in the Iranian market as part of its early efforts to differentiate itself in the country’s packaging industry.

TERAM Group: A Structural Evolution
In response to rapid growth and success in product and market development, TERAM’s management team proposed the formation of the TERAM Group. In 2012, the group expanded with the establishment of its second company, Taktaz Tejarat Iranian, focused on foreign trade and raw material imports. By 2013, TERAM’s workforce had grown to over 100 employees. In 2014, Rangin Baste Naqsh Jahan, another member of the TERAM Group, commenced operations, specializing in the production of rigid boxes (hard boxes) and complex handmade packaging structures.
By 2015, with eight years of valuable industry experience, TERAM Group had implemented significant transformations in its management system. Armed with a team of highly skilled professionals, a dynamic organizational structure, and a modernized management framework, the company was positioned for bold advancements.

TERAM’s Vision: Becoming the Leading Packaging Choice for Top Brands
The significant gaps and vast potential in the country’s packaging industry, combined with extensive research into cutting-edge global technologies, set the stage for a bold ambition: the development of the most advanced and largest cardboard printing and packaging company in the country, which was conceptualized in 2012. The funding for this innovative project was secured in 2014. After thorough research, expert consultations, and analysis of the best industry models worldwide, the selection of machinery and the design of the facility took place in 2015 and 2016. One of the major challenges during this project was the decision to relocate from the Sejzi Industrial Zone in eastern Isfahan to the Razi Industrial Zone in southern Isfahan. In 2017, land was purchased to begin construction on what would become the most advanced and largest cardboard printing and packaging company in the country. By early 2019, with the import and installation of the latest and most advanced equipment and machinery in the printing and packaging industry, TERAM was ready to launch the most distinguished printing and packaging factory in Iran, marking a transformative chapter in the TERAM brand story.

The Realization of a Dream: The Launch of the Most Advanced and Largest Printing and Packaging Company in the Middle East
The relocation from the old Sejzi factory to the new facility in the Razi Industrial Zone was completed at the end of 2019. Between 2018 and 2021, in addition to the machinery initially planned in the expansion project, further advanced equipment was added to the facility, resulting in further development within the ongoing expansion. State-of-the-art offset printing machines, each with unique technical specifications unmatched across the Middle East, alongside other pre-print and post-print machinery, as well as the use of advanced technical knowledge and implemented systems, enabled TERAM not only to handle the large volume of orders but also to apply various printing effects to enhance the packaging of its customers’ products. With the launch of the most advanced litho-laminate production line in 2021, laminated cartons were added to TERAM’s product portfolio. In 2022, TERAM became the first cardboard packaging company in Iran to receive the Food Safety System Certification (FSSC 22000) and, in the same year, was honored with the National Green Industry Award of Iran—an achievement earned for the first time in Iran’s printing and packaging industry.
As part of its human resource development strategy, by the end of 2023, TERAM’s workforce had grown to over 550 employees.

TERAM Packaging City: Our Path of Continuous Growth
Creating diverse and distinctive packaging designs and bringing them to life has always been at the heart of TERAM’s growth and development. The launch of the carton manufacturing expansion phase in 2024 will be another step towards transforming TERAM into a “packaging city.” After the completion of this project, we will witness another transformation in the TERAM brand story, and TERAM Group will become the most advanced site for carton production in Iran. With the mindset that growth and development are never-ending, we have embarked on this path and will remain steadfast on this challenging journey.
